Ms. Katie was born in New Orleans and raised in Mandeville. Since her parents are LSU Alumni, she was excited to attend Louisiana State University after graduating from St. Scholastic Academy. Katie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in May 2012. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at LSU. Her interests include working with the pediatric population, especially those with autisum and related spectrum disorders. She also enjoys learning about neurological disorders.

Grant was born and raised in the Southside of Chicago. He attended Augustana College for his undergrad in Rock Island Illinois where he played 4 years of football. He has a twin sister (Greta) and another sister who is 2 years older (Jore), both still live in Chicago. He became interested in the field of speech-language  pathology when he was a senior in high school. He had the opportunity to assist a kindergarten teacher 3 times a week for a few hours and found that he enjoyed working with children. Augustana has a terrific CSD program and a variety of hands on clinicals for students. Currently, he enjoys studying speech and language development in children. In his free time he enjoys fishing and golf. He is not sure where he will be once he graduates LSU’s COMD graduate program but he is looking forward to pursuing a career in the field of speech-pathology.
